Liz Lee Of Stockwell Bus Garage Receives Award At 2007 Tfl Bus, Tram And Dial-A-Ride Awards

Liz Lee, a driver/operator from London General’s Stockwell Garage, was presented the Natalia Muir Award by Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London, for her ‘outstanding contribution to equality and diversity in the London Bus Industry’.

Liz was nominated for her work in assisting with the introduction of two new routes in Stockwell Garage and in particular mentoring a large number of female staff joining the company. She has also been active in promoting health and safety awareness throughout the garage as part of Stockwell’s Health & Safety team.

Managing Director, John Trayner, said, ‘these awards are about recognising those staff who go the extra mile and go above and beyond the call of duty. I am pleased that we had a number of staff in the company who fitted that description and were able to join me at the event to celebrate Liz’s success.’
